About

STATEMENT
These images reflect an imagined space of painterly sensuousness suggesting a lyrical landscape within a structured and compressed area. Using elemental blocks of color implying a window or door motif, shadowy traces or smears of paint evoke an earlier evolution or history. It is important that the color and surface languish together in an emotional response and that a sense of absence or emptiness ultimately becomes a presence.
